Dr. Kling has been practicing in North Central San Antonio since 1988. He is a native Texan, born in San Angelo and raised in San Antonio. Dr. Kling attended Trinity University in San Antonio and graudated from Parker Chiropractic College in Dallas.
Dr. Kling first became interested in chiropractic after suffering a high school football injury. When physical therapy and medication failed to improve his condition, two different orthopedic surgeons recommended spinal fusion surgery. His mother, who is a lifetime chiropractic patient herself, made the life changing decision to take him to her chiropractor. It was chiropractic that brought him tremendous relief and allowed him to avoid back surgery and return to athletics. This experience convinced him to pursue a career in chiropractic.
Today, Dr. Kling states the most rewarding thing about being a chiropractor is seeing everyday how chiropractic helps people recover from various musculoskeletal conditions so quickly and efficiently. He feels chiropractic fills the gap in healthcare in the case of the patient whose condition is not 'bad'enough for surgical intervention and does not respond to traditional treatment or the patient who is living with pain or discomfort on a daily basis because they have accepted it as 'normal'. Dr. Kling works closely with several of the leading pain management, orthopedic and neurological surgeons in San Antonio.
